Welcome new directors Keith Grant and Bruce Morrison!

Earth Day April 18 – Lynn and Jerry will do the AIS booth in conjunction with the Wyoming Game and Fish.
Bighorn Lake Sediment Study Funding conference call meeting forth coming. Keith reported on meetings with the USBR and Bighorn Canyon in recent weeks trying to get the sediment study moving ahead again after a two year delay. This delay was caused by multiple leadership changes in the government agencies involved. So now the new leaders need to be informed on the past and present sediment needs. This has been a long, slow process but so important to the future life of YT reservoir.
Bob presented the financial report and 2015 membership drive returns for Jerry.
Since Lynn was gone Steve had no new report on efforts for cell phone coverage at Horseshoe Bend. Lynn will keep working with Verizon on this.
The board is seeking folks willing to give free boat rides at the 2015 Bighorn Lake Celebration on July 18, 2015. A few names have been submitted but many more are needed.
The mountain snow pack is less than normal this year so far. The USBR will use the Rule Curve to manage the water resources considering all stakeholders needs. We should have water to launch at Horseshoe Bend this spring once the ice leaves.
YT Reservoir Conference calls continue on a monthly basis. There were several stakeholders on the call today discussing the present water conditions and the up coming USBR meetings in April.
The spring Bighorn River System Issues Grp meeting will be in Lovell on April 23 from 10am to 3pm. FOBHL will again provide the noon lunch and break treats. We invite all to attend this important meeting.
The spring Yellowtail Reservoir water operations meeting will be in Billings on April 9 from 1 to 3pm at the Billings Convention Center. The YT water management plan for this summer will be presented and discussed.
Bruce was asked to check on the Bed Tax money we applied for in 2013. As yet we have not received it from the committee or the Chamber.
The next board meeting will be in Powell on April 14 at 6:30pm at PVCC meeting room.
