Keith (along with Rep Elaine Harvey and Karen McCreery of Senator Enzi’s office) reported on the visit with Darrell Cook in Billings a week ago. They felt it was worthwhile time spent in discussing some pertinent issues.

Margaret suggested we develop a media packet for next spring’s advertising. We all felt this was a great idea. We also need to consider what EXPO shows we will attend next spring?

The new promo DVD on south Bighorn Lake is out in public. There are 27 area businesses using it in their stores. TCT West is presently showing it on 2 of their local cable channels in the Big Horn Basin area. Bob N will check with Powell Cable TV about showing it too. The Lovell, Powell and Cody Chambers of Commerce have copies. They intend to purchase more to use in their tourism promotions .  FOBHL has contracted with Bresnan Cable TV in Billings to run 70, 30 second ads, in the coming weeks, using portions of this DVD.

Bruce led a discussion concerning Mustang Days 2008. They want to do more activities at HSBend area and also have the fireworks on Saturday evening. The It’s a New Day Celebration at Bighorn Lake by FOBHL will be on Saturday June 21. ( see late months board meeting minutes for the overall suggested changes in this activity) We were invited to have a representative at the end of August Mustang Days Committee meeting.

A discuss to be lead by Bob N on “Present and future relationships between FOBHL, USBR and BICA” was postponed to next meeting since Bob was ill tonight.

General Info:
