Bob Croft, Bruce Morrison and Brian Dickson from FOBHL met with Darrell Cook, Rick Lasko, Mike Durtsche and Jeff Herriford of BHCNRA to discuss details of up coming and ongoing projects at Bighorn Canyon.  The following projects were included:

 

1.      South Kane Boat Launch

2.      Kane Boat Launch and parking area restoration

3.      Horseshoe Bend Area

a.       New well near the swim beach/picnic shelter area

b.      Concession area

c.       Rehab of camp ground into a modern design

4.      Driftwood burn project

5.      Park roads and those needed for recreational use

6.      Maps for water recreation users (paper and water proof versions)

7.      Need to prioritize project considerations

8.      Reviewed upcoming meeting schedules with the Jan 24 canceled.  It will be held when the driftwood permits are finalized later in Jan.
